WHILE YOU STILL CAN |
jaar: 2012 |
Later when you've grown a bit, you can come along with me, we'll go to the woods, play Indians and cowboys, learn to shoot a catapult, take cover from a thunderstorm and we'll borrow a plum or two from the farmer. Later when you've grown a bit, we'll go back to our house. There's something in the cellar with no eyeballs. After that, the marketplace, we'll climb the church's spire, you can really touch the sky there and think up toward the planets. Play while you still can 'cause little man before you know you've got a wife, a friend, a child or two, a mortgage and an auto loan, peruse the news while sitting like a potted plant there in the window. Later when you've grown a bit I can come along with you. I'll take you to the airport, the Anne Frank House and the zoo and after that the harbors, the sand dunes and the sea, build a great big castle and as soon as it gets very dark we can be vampires. Play while you still can cause little man before you know you've got a wife, a friend, a child or two, a mortgage and an auto loan, peruse the news while sitting like a potted plant there in the window. Later when you've grown a bit you can come along with me, Later when you've grown a bit you can come along with me. Later when you've grown a bit. verschenen op: * For a Kiss (2012) * |
